# 9.5. Linking student emails

## 9.5.1. How to Register for a Metric Education Package <a href="#how-to-register-metric-education-package" id="how-to-register-metric-education-package"></a>

* *Use Method 1 if your student email (ending with edu.vn) cannot sign in with Google.*
* *Use Method 2 if your student email (ending with edu.vn) can sign in with Google.*

To register for the Metric Education Package, you can choose one of the following two methods:

### Method 1: Register with a personal email address <a href="#register-with-personal-email" id="register-with-personal-email"></a>

* *This method is recommended if your student email (ending with edu.vn) is registered with Microsoft (only usable on Outlook).*

* *Personal email address is the type of email ending with gmail.com*

* **Step 1:** Sign in/Register an account on Metric [here](https://metric.vn/analytics).

* **Step 2:** Link your account with your student email.

On your Account page, click the “**Student email link**” button to connect your current account with the student email you are using.

Afterwards, enter your student email in the blank box then press the “**Link**” button.

* **Step 3:** Verify your linked email account with your Metric account.

Metric will send you a verification email to your student email inbox (email ending in edu.vn). Click the "**Xác thực ngay**" (meaning “**Verify now**”) button to complete the procedure for linking your student email with your Metric account.

Afterwards, choose the “**Xác nhận**” (meaning “**Confirm**”) button.

Metric will send a notification confirming you have successfully linked your student email.

After successfully verifying to link your student email, your Metric account will be automatically activated into an Education Package with a validity period of 03 days.

### Method 2: Register using your student email address <a href="#register-with-student-email" id="register-with-student-email"></a>

* **Step 1:** Sign in/Register an account on Metric [here](https://metric.vn/analytics).

* **Step 2:** Your account will be automatically activated into the Education Package.

After registering on Metric with your student email, your account will automatically be activated into the Education Package, and this package would have a validity period of 03 days.

## 9.5.2. Reminder <a href="#reminder" id="reminder"></a>

* The Education Package is <mark style="background-color:orange;">valid for</mark> <mark style="background-color:orange;"></mark><mark style="background-color:orange;">**03 days**</mark>.
* The Education Package account includes Basic Analysis features for 5 e-commerce platforms: Shopee, Lazada, Tiki, Sendo, and TikTok. * After the Education Package expires, the account will revert to a free account.

This means that if a student email has already been registered for the Metric Education Package, it would be unable to participate again after the package expires. The same applies to personal email accounts linked to a student email.
