Where does the data on Metric come from and is it reliable?

The sources of data on Metric come from those E-commerce platforms currently operating in Vietnam including Shopee, Tiktok Shop, Lazada, Tiki, Sendo,...

You can check the accuracy of the data by selecting products in the list of best-selling products on Metric Analytics and comparing it between Metric and platform.

How often does Metric update data?

Data would usually be updated each and every 3 to 7 days.

Each E-commerce platform Metric provides data will have a different update period. Metric always tries to update those figures as soon as possible to provide customers with the most accurate and realistic data.

When analyzing “Tất cả” (meaning “All platforms”), until which day does Metric apply its filters?

The “Tất cả” platform (meaning “All platforms”) includes 4 platforms, which are Shopee, Lazada, Tiki, Sendo, applied to accounts with older packages; while it would include 3 platforms, which are Shopee, Lazada, Tiki, applied to accounts with analysis-on-session packages.

When selecting “Tất cả” (meaning “All platforms”) analysis, the data will be used up to the date of the E-commerce platform with the most recent data update.

For example, if the user selects “Tất cả” (meaning “All platforms”) analysis for a period of 30 days, in which Shopee's data is updated on April 26, 2024, and the remaining 3 platforms are updated up to May 3, 2024, the analysis command will return results from March 28, 2024 to April 26, 2024 (according to the Shopee platform with the most recent data update).
